Data Deletion Instructions
Overview
You can request the deletion of your personal data and account data from OwlGrid's systems at any time. This page explains the process, what is deleted, and what we are required or unable to delete.
How to Request Deletion
Send a deletion request
Email us using the button below from the email address associated with your OwlGrid account, or include your organization ID if requesting on behalf of an organization.
We verify your identity
We confirm the request comes from the account owner or an authorized organization admin before processing any deletion.
We process the deletion
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. If a request is complex or we are legally required to retain certain records, we may take longer, and we will let you know where required.
What We Cannot Delete
In some cases, we are required or unable to fully delete certain records:
- Billing, tax, and accounting records: may be retained for up to 7 years where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or audit purposes.
- WhatsApp channel deliveries (Meta): for verification codes delivered via WhatsApp, Meta may retain message content on its own systems for up to 30 days under Meta's own Cloud API data retention policy. This retention happens on Meta's infrastructure, independent of OwlGrid, and is not something OwlGrid can delete on your behalf.
- Security and fraud-prevention logs: a limited set of technical logs may be retained where necessary to detect fraud, investigate abuse, or comply with a legal obligation.
